Inside Training Technician - Ladson, SC

The Inside Training Technician will be responsible for designing and implementing internal and customer-facing programs to increase product knowledge and awareness within our customer base and internal staff. This position will also coordinate training events and opportunities that provide specialized training to our customers based on their specific applications and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with sales, marketing, and service departments to identify the customers’ training needs in order to design effective training materials and courses.
• Coordinate and collaborate with sales and marketing departments to develop a schedule for planned events (such as on-site trainings for customers, reps, and internal personnel or tradeshows including booth arrangements, communications & setup/tear down).
• Conduct on-site training sessions for customers and staff, both in person and online, to improve their product knowledge, capability of selling our products, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Gather and evaluate feedback from prior training sessions with the aim of continuous improvement of training materials and sessions.
• Create video and online content that supports our mission. Must be comfortable in front of a camera and in front of audiences.
• Enter information in the CRM after each customer visit to maintain customer information database.
• Be responsible for all training that takes place on-site at DAB US, as well as booking lodging, transport, and hospitality for attendees.

• Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
• Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in training, manufacturing or related training systems discipline
• 5+ years technical training experience within water pumps, HVAC systems or plumbing
• Willingness to be onsite at our Ladson, SC headquarters 5 days per week, and travel as needed within a 300 mile radius of headquarters
