Retail Sales Associates are responsible for all aspects of customer service, running registers, merchandising, and store maintenance.Primary Responsibilities include greeting and acknowledging every customer, accurately operating the register, being knowledgeable of all promotions and advertisements, maintaining a neat and organized front end work area, assisting with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, communicating customer needs to Team Leaders, maintaining the cleanliness of the overall store, and completing any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis, effective communication, ability to preserve confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize tasks, outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, and a positive attitude.Physical Requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 35 pounds.Ollie's is an equal opportunity employer.
