As a NP, you will offer comprehensive primary care with a clinic, with the option to provide care within community centers, shelters, and on a mobile medical unit. Key Responsibilities:
-Provide comprehensive primary care primarily in a clinic setting, with the option to assist in shelters and on a mobile outreach van.
-Perform minor outpatient procedures and consult with other healthcare professionals as needed, ensuring evidence-based practices are followed
-Assess patient needs, make appropriate referrals for specialty care and diagnostic services
-Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment, focusing on harm reduction techniques
-Complete timely documentation in patient records, maintain necessary credentials, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Salary and Benefits:
• Competitive salary of $100,000 to $115,000 per year
• Comprehensive benefits package
Schedule:
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Optional evening shifts available from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Minimum of two years' experience as a licensed Nurse Practitioner (FNP preferred; ANP will also be considered).
• Experience in a family practice clinic setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle complex medical documents and sensitive situations.
• Intermediate-level proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EHR) systems and other software programs.
