Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise subcontractors and/or perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
  • Assist in planning special projects, preparing annual budgets, and training team members.
  • Support Maintenance Technicians and Associates with complex mechanical and controls-related tasks, with occasional travel between sites.
  • Respond to and complete tenant/service requests promptly.
  • Maintain mechanical rooms, property grounds, and mechanical areas in a clean and orderly condition daily.
  • Monitor and operate Fire/Life Safety equipment as required.


Requirements:

  • Availability for on-call, after-hours, and weekend rotations.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of HVAC service experience in a commercial setting.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to lift 100 lbs.
  • Ability to work from a ladder, perform overhead tasks, detect smoke and chemicals, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • HVAC technical degree.
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, and building automation controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software.
