In just a short time, we’ve launched Loyal Healthcare with 20+ cutting-edge facilities in 11 states across the Western U.S. including Alaska & Hawaii. As we continue our aggressive growth, we’re actively seeking a variety of healthcare positions to serve Veterans in select states, with anticipated expansion nationwide.

Responsibilities

Conduct one-time, non-treatment hearing examinations

Perform comprehensive hearing examinations including air and bone conduction, Stenger testing, speech reception threshold, and word recognition testing

Perform and interpret middle ear analysis using tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing

Perform otoscopy and cerumen removal management if necessary

Conduct electronic medical record review including audiogram history and military noise history

Perform medical opinion writing as the subject matter expert for hearing loss and tinnitus claims

All equipment necessary to perform duties will be available on-site using state of the art audiology equipment and sound booths

Maintain patient confidentiality complying with HIPAA and VA rules and procedures

Qualifications

Education – Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD) or Master’s degree in Audiology from a University accredited by ACAE or CAA

Licensure – Current registration and licensure in Audiology by the State of California

Experience – None required. Experience performing C&P exams is preferred but not necessary Training and ongoing support will be provided

Certifications – Preferred: The Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or board certification in audiology from the American Board of Audiology (ABA). Required: Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association

BLS from The American Heart Association or American Red Cross
