In this role, you will lead procurement for our construction and real estate development projects while ensuring that all FF&E/OS&E, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services are sourced competitively, delivered on time, and aligned with project budgets and quality standards.As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Loveguiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, and field operations teams to support our resort developments from pre-construction through completion.Salary Range: $90,000k - $115,000kThis is an in-office position located at our Wisconsin Dells, WI. resort.Key ResponsibilitiesSource, negotiate, and procure FF&E/OS&E, equipment, and subcontractor services, while utilizing current vendor partnerships, whenever possibleDevelop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and trade partnersIssue purchase orders and manage contracts for materials and services across multiple job sitesCreate project budgets and analyze procurement needs to ensure competitive pricing and cost controlCollaborate with estimating, project management, and field teams to support project timelinesTrack material lead times, delivery schedules, and resolve supply chain issues proactivelyMaintain vendor performance records and conduct periodic reviewsWork with the Procurement department to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, safety standards, and communicate new vendors, FF&E/OS&E to the company Procurement teamSupport value engineering and cost-saving initiatives during pre-constructionCoordinate procurement for change orders, additions, and special project needsWork with end users at each property to assist with the replenishment or replacement of FF&E/OS&E, whenever neededWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in construction management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field5+ years of purchasing experience within commercial construction or large real estate projectsStrong understanding of construction purchasing, systems, and vendor/supplier networksExperience in creating purchasing budgets and delivery schedulesProven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and project scopesExcellent negotiation and contract management skillsFamiliarity with Premier Construction Software is a plusHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to manage multiple priorities across active construction sitesA leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.Experience with commercial developments is preferred.Experience managing procurement for both self-performed and subcontracted work is preferred.A Sampling of Our BenefitsOur team enjoys a comprehensive benefits package, including:Career growth opportunities with promotion from within401(k) matching, paid time off, and holiday compensationHealth, dental, and vision coverage for full-time associatesEmployee appreciation events, discounts, and perks at all resortsEducation assistance programs to help advance your careerBe Part of Something ExtraordinaryAt Kalahari, we believe the best leaders Lead with Lovebecause love builds trust, inspires growth, and creates experiences that last a lifetime.
