Your Job Purpose:


As an IWS Commissioning Lead working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Chandler, Arizona.

You will be responsible for the commissioning of facilities Industrial Waste Collection/Treatment Systems and related equipment. These systems include, but are not limited to; Bulk Chemical Waste, Ammonia Waste, Acid Waste, Solvent Waste, Caustic Waste.


Your Job Description:


  • Working with IWS systems in support of a wider multidisciplinary team of skilled supporting commissioning activities.
  • Generation and execution of documentation to support decommissioning activities on live systems in line with site procedures.
  • Generation and execution of commissioning documentation such as FAT’s (Functional Acceptance Tests).
  • Work with operations and engineering teams to develop testing protocols and start-up procedures.
  • Carry out QA/QC walks of waste systems and equipment and identify punch list items and rectify prior to start-up.
  • Commissioning equipment such as collection tanks, pumps, (AODD and impeller type), agitators, waste treatment skids, control valves.
  • Maintain all documentation in an organized and controlled manner, in compliance with client procedures.
  • Attend daily meetings and provide status updates.
  • Have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, which above all, pose no risk to health and secondly provide no potential risk to any systems.
  • Show ownership and initiative to resolve issues in a high-paced, schedule-driven environment.


Job Requirements:


  • The successful candidate will have time served mechanical trades experience or have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience.
  • Ideally at least 4 years industry experience with a maintenance background and lead or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Circulation Pumps, Sump Pumps, Industrial Water Tanks.
  • Must have a working knowledge of industrial waste treatment and collection systems.
  • An ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Literacy in computer operating systems and applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.
  • Possess excellent communication/documentation and interpersonal skills.
