We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst for a firm with manufacturing, finance and retail operations. The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of financial modeling, proficiency in financial reporting systems, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to drive actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and key metrics reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
  • Support strategic initiatives, including financial feasibility analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Participate in the annual budgeting and planning process.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with financial reporting systems (e.g., ERP, SAP, Hyperion) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus.


Compensation:

  • $90-115K Salary commensurate with experience.
