Associate Private Equity Accounting

Associate, Private Equity Fund Accountant Our client, a Philadelphia based Single Family Office, is seeking an Alternative Investment Fund Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with alternative investments (PE or Hedge) from an accounting and reporting perspective with the ability to manage capital calls and distributions, analyze investment performance and review portfolio valuations. This role will sit alongside the investment team and has significant exposure to senior leadership. Responsibilities Performing financial statements review and preparation for assigned fundsOverseeing cash reconciliation, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity across entities, trusts, and personal accountsManaging capital calls and distribution noticesCompleting fund performance calculations and analysisEnsuring regulatory and accounting standards complianceSkills/Competencies5+ years Alternatives (Hedge or PE), fund administration or public experienceThorough knowledge of financial reporting standards, investment company accounting rules, and accounting principlesInvestran and Excel proficiencyStrong attention to detailExcellent analytical and quantitative skills Additional Details:Employment type: Direct HireSalary: DOEIn office role.The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
