Client Service Representative ReliefMetropolitan Animal Emergency and Specialty Center (a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner)Rockville, Maryland Part?Time ReliefWe are looking for a Relief Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.Experience & Skills Requirements2+ years experience in a veterinary setting requiredAbility to work overnights, weekends and holidays requiredEnjoys connecting with people and has exemplary customer service skillsBelieves that attention to detail mattersWants to learn and accepts feedback openlyHas excellent communication skills, both oral and writtenPossesses a sense of calm, even in the chaosDemonstrates dependability and ethical decision makingIs not afraid of challenges and has determination to work through obstaclesCan work well within a team of diverse individuals, showing compassion and empathyPrimary Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure excellent customer service is provided to our clients.Answer and prioritize incoming phone calls.Monitor client flow from check?in through discharge.Provide excellent customer service to our referring veterinarians and their staff by assisting with their needs and those of their clients.Maintain records management.Audit client and patient electronic records for completeness and accuracy of information.Process payment transactions.Assist with client education.Relay accurate and complete information from clients to veterinarians and other team members.Work closely with team members to build camaraderie, cooperation and respect.About the HospitalMetropolitan Animal Emergency and Specialty Center is the Greater Washington Metropolitan areas pet care provider 24?hours a day, 7?days a week, 365?days a year. Since 1976, we have been successfully and compassionately operating as one of the oldest and best known 24?hour emergency animal hospitals in the country, integrating the passionate care of primary care veterinarians with the precision and effectiveness required for emergency veterinary care.We are open 24/7 and serve Twinbrook, Rockville Town Square, Rockshire, Woodley Gardens, Westmore, Lincoln Park, West End Park and New Mark Commons.Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $19 - $23 per hour.
