This role leads the Supply Planning team in implementing best practices and efficient processes to ensure finished goods are available at the right locations, meet customer demand, and maintain optimal freshnessall while minimizing costs. Core responsibilities include effective supply planning for finished goods, achieving targeted service levels, optimizing inventory and managing aged or excess stock, and fostering strong relationships with various Centers of Supply (Production Planning units). The Supply Planning Lead also collaborates closely with business partners to ensure seamless information flow and communication between the supply planning function and internal stakeholders such as Logistics, Deployment, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Production Planning. This position plays a critical role in optimizing total delivered cost and ensuring a responsive, market-driven supply plan.This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Long Island, NY.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for setting, reviewing, and maintaining safety stock policies by SKU to meet agreed-upon customer service level objectives while minimizing associated working capital costs.Manage bad goods in the P&L by closely monitoring the risk of aging stock, communicating with the commercial team to align on potential actions to mitigate financial risks, and proposing preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.Continually reassess current inventory management processes and lead the proposal and implementation of new planning methods and tools.Manage frequent communication with cross-functional teams regarding product availability and critical items, highlighting risks of customer shortages, back-in-stock projections, root causes of issues, and preventative actions to avoid future recurrence.Oversee long-term (rolling 18-month) supply plans in close collaboration with Center of Supply teams and factories to identify and resolve potential capacity issues early.Manage communication and transitions among various supply planners affected by major sourcing changes and projects.Develop the network of Supply Planning by leading and actively presenting in functional meetings with other business units to share experiences and help define company-wide best practices.Actively present in weekly business review meetings to cross-functional brand leads, providing the latest supply outlook as well as ongoing wins and challenges.Experience & Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; substantial planning experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain roles.Leadership experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: Demand & Supply Planning, Supply Chain Development, Procurement, Physical Logistics, Customer Service, Sales & Marketing, or Finance.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence others; self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision.Strong knowledge of supply planning and inventory management techniques.Demonstrated experience implementing processes and systems to improve organizational effectiveness and working methods.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and build quantitative models to solve business problems.Outstanding oral and written communication, organizational, and time-management skills.Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with personnel at all organizational levels.Flexible and adaptable to the demands of a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Creative thinker with a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex problems.The approximate pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $120,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
