Lead Restoration TechnicianA growing emergency property damage restoration company specializing in water, fire/smoke and mold remediation has an opening for a Lead Restoration Technician. Lead Restoration Technician responsibilities involve responding to emergency and non-emergency restoration calls, customer service, contracts, game planning, estimating, gathering moisture points and recording, demolition tasks (tear out drywall, insulation, carpet, carpet pad), water extraction and setting equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.)This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, local company that is part of a growing national franchise.Responsibilities:Be part of a disaster response team for emergency services from water damage, fire damage and mold remediation.Be customer focused.Take damage assessments, moisture readings and be able to run a crew.Perform water extraction, remedial demolition and drying.Clean smoke damage from affected structures and contents.Must be willing to work outside of "regular" business hours when necessary.Continue to improve technical knowledge and personal performance.Specific Requirements:Become proficient in water restoration, mold remediation, and fire damage clean-upEstablish and maintain a schedule to ensure all services are delivered in a timely mannerRespond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards and Rainbow International's processCommunicate with customers about scope of work and review necessary paperworkMaintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment, keeping them clean and properly maintained to be always availablePerform marketing tasks to sell additional services or develop additional business as requiredPerform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positionsJob Requirements:Restoration and construction experience helpful, but not requiredValid Driver's LicenseAble to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software and spreadsheet applicationsExcellent communication skillsMICA, Xactimate, DASH experience desiredBenefits: Benefits package varies by locationCompensation based on experience.Job Type: Full-timeWe are actively interviewing for this position - Apply today and our hiring manager will follow up
