Job Description: We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Commodity Price Risk Management Financial Business Partner to join our Global Snacking Supply FP&A team. In this strategic finance role, you will act as a key liaison between Finance and the PRM team, providing insight, analysis, and challenge to support effective risk management decisions related to commodity pricing exposures. You will play a pivotal role in helping the business navigate volatile commodity markets by ensuring robust financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support are integrated into risk management strategies. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to strategic decision-making at the intersection of finance and commodity risk. You will be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team, with the opportunity to shape how the business manages market volatility and protects margin performance. What are we looking for? Proven experience (5+ years) in price risk finance, ideally within commodities, trading, energy, manufacturing, or CPG environment. Strong understanding of commodity markets and financial risk management principles. Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (CIMA, ACCA, CPA or CFA preferred). Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders and present complex data clearly. Strong commercial acumen with a keen interest in global markets and commodity trends. Ability to simplify complex market data into clear business implications. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. What will be your key responsibilities? Business Partnering & Strategic Support Act as a trusted advisor to the commodity Price Risk Management team, providing financial insight and commercial challenges. Support the evaluation of hedging strategies, including financial modelling of different scenarios and risk-reward trade-offs. Collaborate with Commercial Sourcing and Finance teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and risk management policies. Financial Analysis & Reporting Develop and maintain financial models to analyze the impact of commodity price movements and hedging decisions on product costs and gross margin. Provide variance analysis and commentary on hedging performance, working capital impacts, and related financial metrics. Deliver clear, actionable insights on cost variance drivers, hedge performance, and forecast accuracy. Forecasting & Planning Integrate commodity price assumptions into the broader financial forecast and budgeting process. Track and report actual vs. forecast hedging outcomes, identifying key drivers and actionable insights. Ensure that commodity risks and opportunities are reflected in financial planning cycles. Governance & Compliance Support adherence to commodity risk policies and controls from a finance perspective. Assist in audits and internal reviews related to commodity risk financials and compliance. Ensure financial risks and exposures related to commodities are appropriately documented and reported in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. What can you expect from Mars? The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment. The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 152,142.00 - USD 209,202.00
