You would be hired as a permanent Sogeti Consultant. An expert in field who will provide guidance and experience a variety of exciting projects, work within different workplaces with diverse teams and various industries.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Cloud Azure Architect, you will be in charge of developing Microsoft Azure solutions, managing projects throughout the lifecycle, overseeing technical execution and assisting in managing teams.


We are looking for a bright minded, self-motivated, team player with a strong background and skilled with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and abilities with:

  • Azure architecture, testing, development, deployment and DevOps implementation expertise in initial planning to budgeting to ensure continuity, followed by smooth implementation of operations and maintenance.
  • Controlling migration and facilitating process development.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, cross-functional teams to recognize challenges and offer solutions.
  • Allocating resources, preparing and ensuring sustained operations.
  • Driving cloud security, privacy and compliance decisions through design and technical discussion concerns for size, performance and agility.
  • Providing technical guidance during development, deployment and practical implementation.
  • Handling migration complexities between on-premises and cloud.
  • Balancing innovation with maintaining legacy systems.
  • Addressing evolving cloud service updates and changes.


Qualifications:

  • Must be local to the Chicagoland area. Onsite/hybrid Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays downtown Chicago is required.
  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Customer-focused and possess a strong background in technology and experience working in the legal industry.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure: OSS (Open Source Software), IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service, PaaS (Platform as a Service).
  • Able to design and implement Office 365 and Azure AD Premium's advanced features such as: security, governance and compliance.
  • Open-source tools: Redis, OpenStack and Docker.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud Platform's features and functionalities: security, firewalls, cache, key vault, etc.
  • Operating systems, Linux, UNIX, Windows and integrated development environments.
  • Expertise working with networking elements like switches, routers, HTTP, IP addresses, LAN/WAN technology, DNS, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and TCP/IP.
  • Skilled at implementing CI/CD-based application development methodologies using tools like Jenkins, TFS and PowerShell.
  • Certifications: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) &/or Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900), highly desirable.
