Job Description
Functioning under moderate supervision, the Clinical Nurse II is, at minimum, a competent practitioner. This level clinician utilizes the nursing process in providing patient care and patient/family teaching. The practitioner organizes and implements safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care in controlled settings with predictable outcomes.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland; successful completion of required hospital, nursing and unit orientation, including but not limited to BLS certification required.
- Maintains criteria for and has demonstrated proficiency at the Clinical Nurse I level and meets eligibility requirements for Clinical Nurse II.
- Pre-OP nursing.
- Certification in specialty is preferred.
- Preferred a year of experience and preoperative prep experience. (Operating Room or Pacu experience)
