Loyal Source was recently awarded an exciting opportunity by the VA to provide Medical Disability Examinations to Veterans throughout the country. In just a short time, we’ve launched Loyal Healthcare with 20+ cutting-edge facilities in 11 states across the Western U.S. including Alaska & Hawaii. As we continue our aggressive growth, we are actively seeking a variety of healthcare positions to serve Veterans in select states, with anticipated expansion nationwide.
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed doctoral level (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) Psychologist
- License must be current, allow for full independent practice, and be unrestricted (you may be asked to obtain additional state licenses to meet growing business needs)
- 3+ years of post – licensure experience
- Computer skills, including facility with Windows OS, Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel
- Must have a designated secure workspace and access to install secure high speed internet via cable/DSL in home
- Must have attended an APA approved school or doctorate program
Position: Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Location: Hybrid. The majority of time will be telehealth from home and on occasion seeing a Veteran in person at our clinic in Anchorage, AK.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Remuneration: This position supports a Service Contract Ace (SCA) where the hourly wage is determined by the Department of Labor (DOL). The hourly wage for this position is $61.56 and is eligible for health and welfare (H&W) fringe benefit of an additional $4.23 an hour. $65.79/hour =$136,843 a year
Key Roles:
- Standard outpatient assessments/evaluations
- Psychological /Neuropsychological Testing service requests
- Participate in peer consultations, staff meetings, and trainings; be responsible for entering determinations within the Department of Veteran Affairs guideline requirements; and perform of other duties as required by the reviewer’s manager
- Conduct Non-MD clinical reviews of the following type during a typical workday:
- Requests for psychological or neuropsychological testing
Additional Qualifications:
- Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP)
- ASPPB Certificate of Professional Qualification (CPQ)
- Experience working in a managed care setting
- Experience performing Peer Reviews
- Experience with Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare lines of business
- Experience with CPT and HCPC codes
- Clinical experience in higher levels of care (Intensive Outpatient)
- Clinical experience with children and adolescents
