Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Senior Data Analyst to their enterprise team. Foundation Risk Partners (FRP) is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to design, build, and maintain enterprise-level business intelligence and data solutions that drive trusted insights across the organization. This role combines strong data engineering skills with expertise in BI visualization and governance, with a focus on Microsoft Fabric as FRP’s enterprise data platform. The ideal candidate will be both a hands-on builder and a strategic partner, supporting the VP of Enterprise Reporting in shaping the future of enterprise reporting at FRP.Key responsibilityPartner with the VP of Enterprise Reporting to implement FRP’s reporting strategy and governance standards.Design and maintain enterprise data models with a focus on security, compliance, and scalability.Build and optimize Microsoft Fabric-based data pipelines, Lakehouses, and semantic models to support scalable, governed reporting.Develop and maintain BI dashboards that transform complex data into actionable insights for business leaders.Collaborate with stakeholders across FRP to understand business requirements and deliver effective reporting solutions.Support and enforce FRP’s data governance, data quality, and validation practices.Provide technical mentorship and guidance to analysts and business users on best practices in Fabric, Power BI, and self-service BI.Troubleshoot and optimize queries, reports, and data models for performance.Stay current with emerging BI, Microsoft Fabric, and data engineering trends to recommend continuous improvements.RequirementsProven expertise in BI visualization tools, with Power BI strongly preferred (Tableau or Qlik also acceptable).5+ years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or analytics.Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL.Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric components including Data Factory, Data Engineering, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and semantic modeling.Experience with data governance, data quality, and security best practices.Ability to design scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise data models.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing queries, reports, and data models for performance.Exposure to version control and deployment practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines) is a plus.Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake).Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).Disclaimer:While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the job requirements, management reserves the right to modify, add, or remove duties from particular jobs and to assign other duties as necessary.Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO):FRP provides equal employment opportunity to qualified persons regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, or any other classifications protected by law.Benefits: FRP offers a comprehensive range of health-related benefit options including medical, vision, and dental.
