Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Pay: $27.39/hr

Job Type: 1-year Contract


Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Analytical Chemist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing analytical testing to support drug product development activities. This role involves method development and validation, analytical testing for process development support, data analysis, and reporting findings to supervisors.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate analytical test methods for new drug products using techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, UV, IR, Karl Fischer titration, and dissolution testing.
  • Conduct analytical testing to support process development and ensure product quality.
  • Perform routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and final drug products.
  • Utilize Empower software for data processing, analysis, and instrument control.
  • Troubleshoot analytical methodologies and instruments as needed.
  • Prepare accurate and concise analytical reports summarizing experimental results.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and GLP guidelines during all analytical activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Research & Development, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related scientific field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in analytical chemistry, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficiency in a variety of analytical techniques including HPLC, UPLC, UV, IR, Karl Fischer titration, and dissolution testing.
  • Experience in method development, validation, and troubleshooting of analytical methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Empower software for data analysis and instrument control is preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in analytical work.
  • Experience working in a GMP/GLP environment is a plus.
