We offer the excitement of a startup with the stability of an industry-leading parent company, and a culture that values innovation and fun.Partner Valuation Advisors (PVA) is searching for a certified general license appraiser to assist with on-site property inspections and final review of appraisal reports. This role will primarily focus on the inspection requirements and will require a large amount of travel (50%+ per month). Additionally, this role will require the appraiser to perform a final review of the client deliverable on those jobs they inspected to ensure that the report is in USPAP compliance for all subject property site and physical improvement descriptions as well as surrounding area descriptions observed during the inspection.As previously mentioned, this role will be travel heavy and should not be considered by applicants who are not able to accommodate travel time. All travel related costs will be covered by PVA, in accordance to our Travel & Expense policy. A certified general real estate license is required for this role. Applicants without a CG license will not be considered.Responsibilities and Duties:Oversee preparation of necessary exhibits and memos in illustration of inspectionsFrequent travel to on-site properties based on assigned work requests.Management of travel arrangement requirements and associated expense reportsParticipate in internal and external client meetings, as neededBuild strong relationships with market and business line leaders to exchange best practices, accelerate innovation and ensure quality and consistencyQualifications:Issued and active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license in at least 1 state with willingness to become licensed in multiple statesMAI designation or candidate, preferredBachelor's degree, preferably (but not required) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant field requiredStrategic understanding of commercial real estate appraisalActive driver's license and ability to easily travel between statesStrong attention to detail and excellent time/calendar management is strongly desiredPrior experience and expertise with Microsoft products, especially Outlook and TeamsActive Certified General Appraiser License, requiredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to drive to asset tours, airline travel may also be necessaryMust be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone and via emailsVisual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screenMust be able to read, write, speak & comprehend EnglishWe will consider qualified applicants who have criminal histories in a manner consistent with the law.It is Partner Valuation Advisors (The Company) policy to provide equal employment opportunities for all applicants and employees.
