Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate will receive incoming merchandise, pick and pack customer orders, stock merchandise, assemblies, and at times, drive local deliveries.Essential FunctionsPick Distribution Center Orders: Collect product required for orders, inspect packaging and product for damage, process pick tickets, distribute finished product to customer's assembly areaPack Distribution Center Orders: Pack merchandise properly to insure safe arrival to its destination. Label packages appropriatelyShip Orders: Prepare barcodes, manifests, and invoices. Maintain shipping records. Calculate shipping costs. Determine appropriate mode of transportation and process accordinglyReceive Merchandise: Verify accuracy of inbound shipments. Prepare and process reports. Distribute merchandise to stock locationsDaily Assembly WorkDaily Deliveries to local customersMaintain Warehouse: Maintain work area and clean as necessaryExperience, Education and SkillsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. required1+ year warehouse experience to include shipping/receiving, picking/packing, and assemblyExperience with FedEx, DHL or other shipping programs is preferredPrevious work experience within a distribution environment preferredMust be able to lift minimum of 75 lbs.Valid Drivers License with a clean driving recordForklift experienceClear and concise verbal and written communication skillsComputer proficiency to include use of MS Office programs.Must be organized and have attention to detailWe are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer M/F/V/D.
