LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a publicly listed client in the real estate industry to hire a Tax Accountant reporting to the Tax Director. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in the downtown Los Angeles office. Expected compensation is $65,000 to $75,000 annually depending on experience plus a 10% target bonus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for tax compliance
- Prepare workpaper and supporting schedules for quarterly and annual income tax provisions
- File returns for sales and use tax, real estate and business property tax
- Assist in corresponding with external advisors and auditors
Qualifications
- Detail oriented and willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Ability to interact with senior executives in a confident and professional manner.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
- 1 year of experience in accounting or tax
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and a tax compliance software (OneSource)
