Role Details:


Job Title: Junior Project Manager

Job Summary: The Junior Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and closing of projects, working under the guidance of senior project managers. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing schedules, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
  • Assist in developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Organize and participate in project meetings, preparing agendas and documenting minutes.
  1. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as a point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing stakeholder expectations and addressing concerns promptly.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project documents are stored and organized appropriately.
  1. Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify potential project risks and issues, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and track project risks and issues, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Escalate critical risks and issues to senior project managers as needed.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Assist in ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct quality checks and reviews of project outputs.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes.
  1. Resource Management:
  • Assist in managing project resources, including team members and budget.
  • Track project expenditures and ensure they are within budget.
  • Support resource allocation and scheduling to optimize project efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Some experience in project management or a related role, preferably in a junior or support capacity.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, Agile).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Any exposure to SAP or SAP S/4 Hana is a big plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
  • Experience with Agile project management practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
