Job Description
One of Phoenix's top and well-established law firms is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney, licensed in Arizona, to join its active practice in Phoenix. The firm offers a competitive salary (commensurate with experience), bonus structure, comprehensive insurance benefits, and 401(k)/profit-sharing participation.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in debtor representation and restructuring matters, with a solid understanding of creditor representation. Experience in commercial litigation or commercial finance is a plus.
Candidates must be able to independently manage multiple projects efficiently, with a strong attention to detail. A strong work ethic and high-quality output are essential. Exceptional academic and professional credentials are preferred.
This position can be remote, provided the candidate is available for in-person meetings and court appearances as needed, approximately 1-3 times per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditor's rights cases, including both debtor and creditor representation.
- Handle commercial litigation and commercial finance matters as required.
- Draft, review, and analyze complex legal documents with precision.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide strategic legal advice.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver highest level of services.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials, representing clients effectively.
Requirements
- Chapter 11 experience required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of bankruptcy experience.
- Arizona State Bar admission required.
