Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Requirements Assessment: Assess customer needs and provide recommendations on appropriate technology solutions, including fit assessment and resource identification.
  • Team Facilitation: Facilitate and direct multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration and progress.
  • Scheduling and Risk Management: Develop project schedules using project management systems, assess risks, and track progress through dashboards.
  • Resource and Vendor Management: Coordinate resources and manage vendor/implementer tasks, including estimating costs and managing project budgets.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, including analysis and consultation.
  • Infrastructure Support: Collaborate with county IT staff to develop the necessary infrastructure, addressing integration, security, and recovery issues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-8 years of experience in technical project management or a related field.
  • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource coordination.
  • Technical Acumen: Ability to assess and recommend technology solutions, with experience managing infrastructure integration, security, and recovery.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team facilitation and stakeholder reporting.
