Job Description:

Assist participants/residents/patients/clients who are functionally, physically and/or socially impaired with those activities of daily living agreed upon in their Service Plan, at the same time fostering independence, freedom of choice, and dignity and safety. The function of the position actively incorporates the Mission and Vision of Providence Health Systems.

With panoramic views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains, Heritage House offers private apartments, nursing services and a rich quality of life to seniors in a vibrant urban environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 months Experience of long-term care or related geriatric and/or rehabilitative care

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months Assisted Living experience

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
