Commercial Superintendent - Various LocationsPortage, MI / Greater Indianapolis Area, IN / Detroit, MI Partner Position 8031 Full-time On-siteCommercial Superintendent - Southwest Michigan, Detroit, MI and Northern IndianaDishER is partnering with a local construction company to identify a Commercial Superintendent to join their team in Michigan and Indiana (depending on project). We are growth minded and always open to new ideas and welcome those with ambition and vision.What You Will Get To Do:Develops and manages cost-effective project schedules and resource plansLeads weekly subcontractor coordination and toolbox safety meetingsCreates and maintains 23 week look-ahead schedulesOversees site logistics, including trailer delivery and setupSelects, coordinates, and supervises subcontractors and trade contractorsEnsures adherence to architectural plans, specifications, and regulationsManage construction contracts, permits, and licensing complianceSupervises assistant managers and addresses safety or performance issuesMonitors and reports on project progress, timelines, and modificationsEnforces project safety, quality, scheduling, and resource control per company standardsWhat Will Make You Successful:Minimum of 5-7 years or more experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexityBachelor's or Associate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field helpfulMust have strong organization and leadership skills and a commitment to safetyAbility to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiencyAbility to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, both verbally and in writingMust be comfortable using a computer or tabletTechnologically proficient with office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) and construction management software (ProCore, MS Project, and Bluebeam)
