Assistant Store Manager (PT)Midland Park MallReports to: Store ManagerSupervises: Assists management with all sales associates, desk associates, stock associatesPosition Overview:The assistant manager is responsible for overseeing the customer experience, training and development of the store staff, leading by example on the selling floor and maintaining the store standards on the selling floor and stockroom.People DevelopmentEnsure all associates complete training per company guidelinesLead by example by training, developing and providing ongoing feedback and coaching on product knowledge, selling skills, visual merchandising and delivering the customer experienceCustomer ExperienceEnsure an excellent level of customer service as a priority at all times by executing and achieving the Customer Experience consistently through regular assessment, coaching and follow-up with teamMaintains all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroomDrive Sales + ProfitabilityMeet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink and conversionOperational EffectivenessMeet all payroll expectationsControl company assets by meeting all loss prevention measuresExecute and comply with all company policies and proceduresAdditional ResponsibilitiesUses sound judgment when making decisionsExcellent communication skillsActs with integrity and respectAdapts to changes required by the businessAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAssumes and completes other duties as assigned by supervisorJob RequirementsA proven track record for driving sales and profit, people development, and/or succession planning rating of TD or betterMinimum two years experience with a proven track record for driving sales and profit results and training and developing a team of individualsPersonal computer and detailed report analysisHigh school education or equivalent preferredSome heavy lifting in excess of 30 poundsScheduled shifts may require standing for a minimum of eight hoursBrand: GUESS FactoryStore: 7065Store Address: 4511 North Midkiff Road, F04 - Midland, TX 79705
