We are now hiring Part-Time & PRN LPN's & RN's for various nursing positions:
- School Nurse
- Facilities
- Hospice Visits
Schedule:
- Weekend shift
- Monday-Friday
RN/LPN Duties:
- Review weekly care notes for quality of documentation, changes in patient condition requiring revisions to the Plan of Care.
- Case management: contact families, coordinate care, communicate changes in Plan of Care. Obtain physician's signature approval as necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques
- Observe patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments and significant incidents
- Take and record patients' vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient
- Respond to life saving situations based on nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol
- Document nursing history and physical assessment for assigned patients
- Initiate a patient education plan according to the individualized needs of the patient as prescribed by the physician and/or Agency policy including patient and family instruction
- Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care
