Night Warehouse AssociateNight Warehouse Associates play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing. They are responsible for picking and preparing customer orders accurately for our delivery team. Working as a team is a critical part of this position's success.Primary Responsibilities:Accurately pick customer orders using an electric pallet jack and other provided technologyPerform all duties related to shipping and picking picking-to-pallet of productsMaintain safety, quality, and productivity standardsDemonstrate positive, cooperative, and team-oriented behavior with co-workers, supervisors, managers consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all timesComplete all other tasks or projects as assignedKey Competencies:Safety mindedActive listeningAccountability & integrityTeam player & strong work ethicAbility to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlinesEffective organizational and time management skillsAbility to read, write and communicate in the English language to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsWork Environment:This job operates mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work.Physical Demands: Lift/carry/push/pull 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 165 lbs. Bend/stoop/crouch/squat/ use arms/wrists/hands/graspAbility to hearExpected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position, days and hours of work vary and may include weekends and overtime as necessary.Travel:NoneRequired Education and Experience:Minimum of 18 years of agePreferred Education and Experience: Experience in a warehouse, with logistics or material handlingExperience using a Pallet JackHigh school diploma or GEDCompensation:Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are also eligible for 80 hours of vacation every year and 7-8 days of paid holidays throughout the calendar year (depending on location).
