Job TitleLead the safety culture for the craft team. Plan, schedule, and execute work safely and efficiently. Ensure quality of completed work. Maintain tool room inventory and consumables. Work closely with clients to align resources and goals. Generate reports as needed. Conflict resolution. Assist in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues. Maintain required site training and equipment inspection logs. Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term schedules for maintenance and project activities. Review work orders, scope of work, and resource needs to ensure tasks are executable. Coordinate labor, tools, equipment, and materials for planned work. Work closely with supervisors and foremen to align resources with schedule demands. Track progress of scheduled tasks and adjust plans to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of work completed, resources used, and schedule compliance. Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of parts and materials. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline work processes.Qualifications/Required SkillsTechnical and Organizational SkillsScheduling and Planning: Ability to create and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term schedules using planning tools or software.Inventory and Procurement Knowledge: Coordinating with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure parts and materials are available on time.Analytical Thinking: Ability to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust plans to minimize downtime.Software and Technical Tools:Proficiency in planning/scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, SAP, or CMMS systems).Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills for reporting and data management.Comfort with technical documents, blueprints, and equipment manuals.Interpersonal and Leadership SkillsCommunication: Clear, concise communication with supervisors, foremen, technicians, and clients.Collaboration: Working closely with operations, maintenance, and management teams.Problem-Solving: Anticipating challenges and proactively developing solutions.Attention to Detail: Ensures plans are accurate and realistic.
