Patient Safety And Risk Management ManagerThis role leads patient safety and risk management efforts across the Saint Alphonsus Health System (SAHS), including the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) and Regional Health Ministries (RHMs). The manager oversees daily operations, ensures regulatory compliance, supports claims processes, and fosters a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.Key responsibilities include:Program leadership & oversightIncident reporting & analysisCulture & collaborationEvent investigation & risk reductionEducation & trainingCompliance & policy developmentClaims & insurance supportSystem integration & reportingQualifications:Bachelor's degree required (nursing or healthcare-related field preferred); Master's degree preferred.Significant experience in healthcare risk management and patient safety required.At least 2 years of leadership experience in a large or multi-hospital system preferred.Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) preferred.Ability to travel to other system sites as needed.Skills & competencies:Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.Deep understanding of healthcare safety standards and regulatory requirements.Ability to collaborate across departments and disciplines.Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.Our commitment: rooted in our mission and core values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
