Revit Operator II Job Overview: The Revit Operator II is a critical leadership role responsible for managing and coordinating complex design processes for construction projects. This position requires advanced technical knowledge, strategic planning skills, and the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary design teams. Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the comprehensive design development for airport infrastructure projects, including terminals, runways, support facilities, and associated transportation infrastructureDevelop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and quality control processesCoordinate between architectural, engineering, and construction teams to ensure design integrity and project alignmentManage multiple design projects simultaneously, tracking progress, budgets, and timelinesReview and approve design deliverables for technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with local, state, and federal aviation regulationsConduct design risk assessments and develop mitigation strategiesPrepare and present design progress reports to senior management and stakeholdersCollaborate with airport authorities, regulatory bodies, and external consultantsImplement value engineering techniques to optimize design efficiency and cost-effectivenessQualifications:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, engineering and/or related fieldMinimum 7-10 years of experience in managing the design of large, complex, building projects, utilities and infrastructure improvements.Design management of complex aviation improvements experience (preferred)Professionally licensed architect and/or engineer (preferred)Demonstrated experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and design management softwareStrong understanding of airport design standards (FAA, IATA, local regulatory requirements)Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex design projectsAdvanced technical and communication skillsProficiency in project management methodologiesTechnical Skills:AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360Project management softwareDetailed understanding of construction documentation processesKnowledge of sustainable design principlesFamiliarity with airport-specific design challenges and technologiesKnowledge of electrical engineering for rail transportation*** (EWR AirTrain)Soft Skills:Exceptional leadership and team management capabilitiesStrong problem-solving and analytical thinkingExcellent verbal and written communicationAbility to manage stakeholder expectationsAdaptability in a dynamic project environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to work in office and construction site environmentsOccasional travel to project sites and client meetingsAble to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk during site inspectionsWork Environment:Combination of office-based and on-site workFast-paced, project-driven environmentPotential for international project exposureSecurity clearance may be necessary depending on project specificationsIf you meet these requirements and are ready for a challenging and rewarding role, we invite you to apply.
