Lifeguard PositionServe as lifeguard for all pool operations; provide constant surveillance of pool activities.Guards the safety of swimmers by providing constant surveillance of the entire pool areaDirects and supervises the behavior of all swimmers to ensure compliance with pool safety rulesProvides emergency lifesaving assistance to troubled or drowning swimmers; performs lifesaving CPR and First Aid in accordance with certified practices and procedures; contacts emergency medical assistance when needed; stays with victims until emergency medical assistance takes over care of the victim.Maintains neatness and cleanliness of the pool area; collects/disposes of trash; maintains neat and orderly pool office.Performs other related work as required.Ability to meet attendance requirements.Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.)Work is performed in an indoor pool environment where there may be physical discomforts associated with humidity, heat, noise, dust, dirt, and the like.Employee Benefits:Paid Time OffRetirement Savings Plan availableSupplemental Insurance availableVoluntary Life Insurance availableMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDMust be at least 15 years of age.
