Youll build client relationships that will grow stronger every year.Joining H&R Block as a seasonal experienced Tax Professional means youll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training youll need to be successful.It would be even better if you also had:Bachelors degree in accounting or related fieldCPA or Enrolled Agent certificationExperience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or taxExperience conducting virtual tax interviewsExperience with tax planning and audit supportSales and/or marketing experienceWhat you'll bring to the team:Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools video, phone, chat, emailPrepare complete and accurate tax returnsGenerate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and servicesProvide clients with IRS supportAll certification levels can provide tax notice servicesCircular 230 associates can provide audit representationMentor and support teammatesSuccessful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment*Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or taxExperience completing individual returnsExperience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools video, phone and chatAbility to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writingMust meet IRS and applicable state requirementsHigh school diploma / equivalent or higherWhy work for us:At H&R Block, we believe and invest in our people by committing to their total well-being.
