Candidates should have 3+ years of experience creating & supporting CNC programs, performing troubleshooting, process improvements, validations/qualifications and change controls and CAD & CAM experience.


CNC Programmer/Technician Job Description:

  • Create CNC programs for Swiss or milling machine centers
  • Develop and maintain cost effective processes and procedures
  • Advocate and implement the highest quality standards and LEAN principles
  • Assess and communicate technical specifications to all departments
  • Identify and complete continuous improvement projects
  • Create and coordinate engineering tests
  • Perform quality assurance tests to ensure specification compliance
  • Assist/or develop in the development of tool design and CNC programming
  • Modify through change control, BOM/BOO within the ERP system
  • Assist with all costing and quoting functions – for tooling
  • Resolve daily manufacturing issues per LEAP structure
  • Maintain machining and secondary operational processes


CNC Programmer/Technician Job Requirements:

  • 2 – 3 years of experience in technical field
  • Experience with CAD and CAM software – preferably Solid works and Esprit
  • Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment, especially word and excel
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Experience in the design and selection of fixturing and tooling for complex parts
  • Experience in a precision manufacturing shop environment
  • LEAN / Six Sigma training and demonstrated application
  • Experience working within an ISO 13485 environment
  • Ability to travel between LISI sites as needed


The starting salary for the CNC Programmer/Technician position is $36-41 hourly.

1st Shift: Monday – Thursday (4x10s) and half day on Friday
