Accounts Payable SpecialistWe are looking for a diligent Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in North Reading, MA. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable processes. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented environment and is passionate about maintaining the integrity of financial operations.Responsibilities:Process and verify invoices to ensure proper coding and compliance with organizational policies.Manage accounts payable transactions, including ACH payments and check runs.Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient payment processing.Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions and documentation.Conduct regular reviews of accounts payable reports to identify and address errors.Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.Respond to vendor inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.Support continuous improvement efforts within the accounts payable department.Requirements:Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.Proficiency in processing ACH payments and conducting check runs.Strong skills in coding invoices and account coding.Familiarity with accounting software and tools.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies effectively.Strong communication skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
