Posting may close before posted deadline if enough applications are received. JOB SUMMARY Perform work of routine difficulty in the preparation/processing and maintenance of personnel information. This position is a working/journey position that works under general supervision. The HR Technician serves as a key point of contact for employees, providing frontline support for leave management, HR communications, and administrative processes.Serve as the primary contact for all leave requests (FMLA, sick leave, vacation, etc.).Process and track leave documentation and ensure compliance with applicable policies and laws.Support communication of HR updates, policy changes, and announcements.Manage employee data changes (e.g., status updates, name changes, department transfers).Provide general HR administrative support including records management, mail distribution, and appointment scheduling.Assist with employee verifications and correspondence.Coordinate training rooms, setups, supply and resources for trainings and events.The Superior Court in Pinal County values your experience. Audit personnel action forms and departmental time sheets. Compile and maintain records for use in employee benefits administration. Compile data from personnel records and prepare reports. Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons. Prepare and file reports of accidents and injuries at establishment. Prepare and maintain required reports. Process employment applications and assist in other recruitment and selection activities. Record employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason. Update employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses. Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, customer records, and restricted County information. Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may substitute for the minimum requirements.QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT newly established Arizona Residents must have oneKnowledge of type of occupations found in public entities.Knowledge of staff research work and report writing.Knowledge of interviewing techniques.Knowledge of Business English and bookkeeping and accounting methods.Knowledge of state and Federal labor laws and regulations.Knowledge office practices and procedures.Skill in analyzing computation and statistical information.Skill in operating office equipment.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the public.The work is light and requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects. The work also requires the ability to finger, grasp, perform repetitive motion, hear, speak, and demonstrate mental and visual acuity.
