Our client is a well-established law firm who is committed to best practices based in the Uniondale, NY area. We have been engaged to identify an Electronic Discovery Project Manager to join their legal team. This is a hands-on position that will provide litigation technology support, database management, eDiscovery project management, and training to legal staff and clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Participate in client calls and coordinate collection of electronic information from clients
  • Process electronic information for delivery to document review databases.
  • Coordinate processing of electronic information by vendors.
  • Create and manage document review databases (both in-house and vendor-hosted).
  • Train and provide technical support for attorneys and paralegals in the use of document review databases.
  • Consult with attorneys on eDiscovery best practices.
  • Set and manage case team expectations.
  • Prepare document productions according to instructions in stipulations, subpoenas, or document demands.
  • Analyze received productions and alert case team of any issues.


To Quality:


  • 5+ years of litigation support experience in a law firm; managerial experience a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with eDiscovery applications, both ESI processing and document review/production.
  • Thorough understanding of typical litigation support workflows and process requirements.
  • Experience with Relativity and IPRO is required.
  • Experience with Scripting and MS-Access is a plus.
  • Experience with Information Governance and various FTP software.
  • Must be a personable team-player
