Senior Construction Estimator

A leading commercial construction company seeks an experienced Senior Estimator with extensive experience in ground-up new construction (Restaurant, Fuel Station/Convenience Store, Retail) and interior construction (Big-Box Retail, multi-site Retail programs, renovations, tenant improvements).

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze drawings and specifications.
  • Create estimates and detailed take-offs.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors.
  • Maintain cost database for labor and materials.
  • Lead Preconstruction team.
  • Value engineer projects with clients.
  • Mentor Junior Estimators.
  • Understand contractual terms.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years as a Senior Estimator in commercial construction.
  • Experience in Retail interior and ground-up commercial construction.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel).
  • Strong knowledge of Estimating software and Bluebeam.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • High proficiency in reading blueprints.
  • A high school diploma is required; an associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
