The department is specifically focused on interventional radiology and operates a busy schedule. Patient types include adults with a wide range of interventional procedures. Typical procedures performed include kyphoplasty, central line placements, IVC filters, and more. Approximately 10-15 cases are handled daily, in addition to CT procedures. Staffing support includes other interventional radiology RNs and techs, as well as a dedicated transporter. Weekend on-call duties will be every 6-7 weekends. Weekday on-call will involve one shift per week, with variable days. Holiday call duties will typically involve one holiday per contract.
