Join our small team that makes world class Audio/Video hardware and software for the Business Jet industry. We are looking to add a mid- and senior-level FPGA Engineer to our staff. This position is performed onsite with the flexibility to work a 4x10 or 5x8 schedule.


Job functions would include:

  • Design complex logic in both Verilog and VHDL (Verilog currently is the primary HDL programming language in our company)
  • Specify, study, interpret and integrate 3rd party IP packages where needed.
  • Debug complex high-speed designs via simulation (as needed) and in hardware
  • Write specification / datasheets / theory of operation for developed IP for use by others including processor software team members and customer support trainers.
  • Integrate IP with other FPGA designers and use procedures to facilitate code reuse.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years (mid) or 8 years (senior) experience programming FPGAs with Verilog and/or VHDL
  • Mastery of Xilinx constraints language and concepts
  • Mastery of Xilinx debugging tools
  • FPGA interfacing with high speed serial peripherals, (2 Ghz or Higher)
  • BS in engineering or relevant field

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Video & Audio transport experience
  • Video & Audio processing experience

Compensation:

  • Salary may be adjusted based on experience and geographic location outside of Kirkland, WA
  • FPGA Engineer: $150,000 to $185,000 per year
  • SR FPGA Engineer: $170,000 to $205,000 per year
