Job Description: We are seeking an Experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. As a Construction Manager at Carbon Group, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the construction process, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and effectively communicating with all stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, sub-contractors, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
  • Manage, hire, and supervise construction teams, project managers, site supers, subcontractors, and laborers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records; including but not limited to schedules, budgets, flow charts, staffing requirements, and projections.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 20+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in ground up construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects (& associated team members) simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a can do mentality.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Professional and mature demeanor allowing interaction with clients, owner, and financing professionals associated with projects.
