Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, a strong background in Java, and extensive experience in test automation using Selenium, Cucumber, and performance testing with Gatling.

As a Test Architect, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall test strategy, designing robust test frameworks, and leading the automation efforts across various projects.


Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy and Architecture:

Define and establish the overall test strategy, ensuring alignment with the project requirements and business goals.

Design and develop comprehensive test automation frameworks that are scalable, maintainable, and reusable.

Lead the selection and integration of appropriate testing tools and technologies, with a focus on Selenium, Cucumber, and Gatling.

Automation Leadership:


Drive the adoption of test automation practices across the development and QA teams.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test automation is integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

Test Design and Execution:


Work closely with development teams to ensure testable code is produced and that test automation is a key part of the development process.

Design and implement automated test cases that cover a wide range of scenarios, including UI, API, and performance testing.

Monitor and analyze test results, identifying issues and ensuring that high-quality standards are met.

Mentorship and Guidance:


Provide technical leadership and mentorship to QA engineers and test automation developers.

Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill the team on test automation tools and best practices.

Lead code reviews and ensure that test automation code is of the highest quality.

Performance Testing:


Implement performance testing strategies using Gatling, ensuring the system's scalability, reliability, and performance.

Analyze performance test results and work with developers to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

Collaboration and Communication:


Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements and define the testing approach.

Communicate the test strategy, plans, and results to stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to provide QA insights.
