Cornerstone Treatment Facility Network is a respected leader and innovator in the chemical dependency treatment field for more than 25 years. We are currently seeking a full time Recreation Therapist Aide to join our Recreation department. In collaboration with the Director of Recreation Services, the Recreation Therapist will provide assistance in all recreational activities at our inpatient facility. The Recreation Therapist will facilitate a range of recreational activities which are focused on the promotion of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to): 1. In collaboration with Director of Recreation Services, assist in recreational services. 2. Assist the Director of Recreation Services in all aspects of client participation. 3. Assist the Director of Recreation Services in all aspects of facility participation in annual Fun Day, in-house patient events including staff events 4. Provide introduction and orientation of recreational services to all Cornerstone Treatment Facility clients 6. Assist in the scheduling of major facility recreational activities 7. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRMENTS: EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1. High School Diploma/GED required; CASAC or CASAC-T with applicable experience will be considered for the position. 3. Minimum of two (2) year of providing recreational services to chemically dependent and/or mentally ill clients preferred. 4. Proficiency with computer operation (Microsoft Word, Excel, Electronic Health Record documenting and Outlook programs). 5. CPR/First Aid Certification required. 6. Must be able to work evenings and weekends and maintain a flexible schedule.
