Our client, a leading airline company, is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a hybrid position in Fort Worth, TX . This person will manage and optimize infrastructure using Terraform, Azure PaaS, and Kubernetes, implement and document monitoring and alerting solutions, enhance deployment processes and system performance, troubleshoot and automate processes, conduct RCA investigations, and develop technology roadmaps.


**This is a 5-month contract. It may be eligible for extension or conversion to FTE based on need and performance.**


Responsibilities:

  • Manage infrastructure using Terraform, Azure PaaS, and Kubernetes, and implement monitoring and alerting solutions.
  • Document processes for repeatable actions and automation, enhance deployment processes, and debug production issues.
  • Propose and execute automation solutions, plan and execute configuration changes, and improve system availability and performance.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, understand and integrate portfolio solutions, improve DevOps practices, and develop technology roadmaps.


Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CI/CD automation with GitHub, GHA, ADO, and monitoring solutions in AKS and K8S.
  • Proficiency in Node JS, GQL, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes), cloud-native relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), MongoDB schema design, and web services (Graph QL, REST/SOAP).
  • Experience with backend storage management, automated performance testing scripting, load balancing and CDN automation, metrics and logging infrastructure, and security vulnerabilities and compliance.
