Job Summary: As a Nurse (RN) at our facility, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care under the guidance of our Clinical Coordinator and Nursing Unit Director. You will be responsible for planning, providing, and evaluating total nursing care in line with our patient care philosophy and evidence-based practice standards. Your primary focus will be on delivering individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing patient care duties for the assigned unit or department
  • Plan, provide and evaluate total nursing care according to established patient care philosophy
  • Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
  • Maintain effective communication with other shifts for continuity of care
  • Collaborate with other departments and nursing units to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in all phases of education and professional development opportunities


Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Valid Georgia RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Handle with Care Certification or CPI preferred within 90 days of hire
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience as an RN in direct bedside patient care, preferably in a behavioral health facility
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
