Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity within the retail or mall environment. Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents according to Allied Universal policies and site-specific procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns at the location. Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as needed, following site-specific guidelines. Support emergency response efforts as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Primarily driving post is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
