JOB SUMMARY:

The Onboard Specialist Contributes to the successful onboarding and development of all new advisors joining TPI in the first 6 months of the relationship. The main focus is to welcome, guide and ensure new to the industry and experienced advisors are comfortable with our technologies, processes, and resources available to build and run their business. This position requires heavy outbound cold calls, follow up calls per post onboarding process and scheduled zoom calls.



DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Proactively connects with and welcomes each new advisor through phone/video calls and emails to establish needs of the travel advisor.

·        Utilizes Advisor Assessments and HubSpot notes to direct conversation and developing a plan for advisor to be successful with TPI.

·        Educates and facilitates introductions of advisors with TPI Preferred partnerships and guides them in the beginning stages.

·        Educates and leads new advisors through Signet and encourages Signature training and importance of supporting both TPI and Signature Preferred Partnerships

·        Connects advisor with appropriate internal teams to help in building and running their business through TPI technologies and programs.

·        Provides insight and guidance to advisors on building their travel business; marketing, budgeting, defining a niche, etc.

·        Utilizes HubSpot to keep notes and send emails to manage relationships.

·        Walks new advisors through TPI Central, Supplier Directory, Getting Started with TPI Suitcase.

·        Completing necessary administrative work including onboarding reports, scheduling appointments, timely responses to phone calls and emails.

·        Introduces TPI social media sites to promote engagement and participation in events.

·        Ensures new advisors are aware of local training and events.

·        Performs other related duties as required. 

·        Some travel may be required

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·        Strong presentation skills.

·        Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.

·        Ability to evaluate and research education options and alternatives.

·        Ability to design and implement effective education and development.

·        Comfortable on camera for zoom calls as well as public speaking

·        Ability to understand advisor's distinct levels of learning


QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent

·        Minimum of four years related experience

·        Commitment to excellence and high standards

·        Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage

    priorities and workflow

·        Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing

    priorities with enthusiasm

·        Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects

·        Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees

·        Proficient on video recording and editing software, Microsoft Office Suite

·        Proven leadership and business acumen skills

·        Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

·        Strong interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.

·        Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

·        Creative, flexible, and innovative team player

·        Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or

    groups at all levels of an organization

  • 95% phone/zoom calls
