Position Overview

The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for the following:

  • Network and Systems Infrastructure: Managing and supporting servers, desktops, laptops, telecommunications, backups, and security.
  • Customer Support: Offering application and help-desk support, addressing software-related issues, and coordinating problem resolution.
  • Daily Operations: Monitoring systems, troubleshooting network issues, maintaining security, conducting backups, and operating surveillance systems.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with business applications teams for user training, revising reporting requirements, and supporting data warehouse/dashboard initiatives.
  • Disaster Recovery & Security: Developing and testing disaster recovery plans, maintaining security measures, and investigating breaches.
  • Technology Evaluation: Researching and recommending improvements for new technologies and infrastructure upgrades.


Key Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 8+ years of experience in information systems and a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Expertise in Windows OS administration, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, VMware, and a strong skill set in MacOS.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and minimal supervision.

This position is ideal for someone with broad technical experience who enjoys both hands-on work and strategic problem-solving.
