Training is the first 4 weeks of employment so we start a group of individuals to go through training all together. We will be looking to start our next class February 16th tentatively. The first 4 weeks for training the schedule is the same for everyone: Monday thru Friday, full days (combination of remote and on-site). After training is complete, people then roll into the shift/schedule they were hired for.This is a part-time (64 hours per two week pay-period), benefits-eligible position and the tentative schedule (after training is completed) for this position is:Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday / 2:30 pm to 11:00 pmThe Patient Access Scheduler position is responsible for:Pre-registering and scheduling patient appointments for assigned services to the appropriate location with appropriate providers in an attentive and courteous manner.Directing calls to appropriate area for services not provided in Patient Access Scheduling.Receiving requests for information and ensuring that material is distributed in a timely manner.Scheduling, admitting, and pre-authorizing insurance for all patients in area assigned.Acting as the first point of contact for our system, partners with the caller/patient to facilitate an empathetic and compassionate solution, assisting the patient in navigating our complex system.Ability to work in a remote environment, maintaining quality and performance expectations in a self-directed manner.Required Qualifications:2 years in a direct customer facing sales or service settingPreferred Qualifications:Associate of Arts Associates Degree or completion of medical terminology program2 years experience in a medical settingBenefit Overview:Fairview offers a generous benefit package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more Please follow this link for additional information:Compensation Disclaimer: An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
